Total squad cost can't exceed 300 points. You want LeBron AND Jokic? Cool, the rest of your team is gonna be guys you've never heard of. Budget management, Morty. It's like... the whole game.
Scores come from Sorare fantasy points. Points, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks... the usual stuff. Turnovers hurt. Like, actually hurt.
Only your best game per player per GP counts. One transcendent performance is worth more than three mediocre ones. Quality over quantity, baby.
Starters count 100%. Bench counts 90%.A 10% reduction on your five bench seats. Don't stash your best guy there.
Pick a Captain from your starters. Their best score gets DOUBLED. Choose wisely. Or don't. I'm not your dad.
The playoffs are split into Game Periods. Before each GP starts, you set your lineup. Different GP, different lineup. Adapt or get schwifty... wait, no, just adapt.
Once a GP starts, your lineup is LOCKED. No take-backs. No "oops I meant to pick the other guy." This isn't a democracy, it's a meritocracy.
Player costs = their last 10 game average. Hot player = expensive. Cold player = cheap. The market is efficient. Unlike most things in the multiverse.
Total score = sum of your best-game-per-player across all GPs. Captain bonus included. Simple math, even for a Morty.
The leaderboard updates after each GP. You can see overall standings and per-GP rankings. Bragging rights are interdimensional and non-refundable.
When a team gets eliminated, their players become free swaps. The chaos is the feature, not the bug. Nobody exists on purpose. But your roster should.
